These type of threads are not really permitted on macrumors, however if you go on eBay just type in the model MBP you have, or a similar model of it to get an idea of pricing. Gumtree is good as well.

Points are earned but WU are processed/folded by your machine to earn those points. The number of points earned per wu depends on what the Pande group has set for that kind of wu. having owned every mac mini from 1.66 c2d to a 2010 2.66ghz .
you need to upgrade if :
1)you game a lot.
2) If you want dual screens of 1080 p
3) if you are a handbrake freak
4) if you want a 27 inch hi end led screen with 2500 by 1400 resolution

Unlike some other countries, where loser pays. We have a court system where you don't get penalize for bringing unwarranted lawsuits. Therefore, it gets expensive to mount a defense.
What's your point? The legality of jb has already been established.
To sue someone, you have to know who they are so you can serve them. What's Apple going to do, sue comex? chpwn? Apple doesn't know who they are. Sony knew who geohot was because he's an attention whore.
But I forgot, it's much more attention grabbing and easier to get people to donate if you scare them into thinking the jb world will come to an end if you don't send geohot money.

I also have a 2007 MBP which had 2 upgrades from Tiger.
When I upgraded to an SSD, I saw that my Library folder was around 12gb in size and was not getting the full benefits of SSD which had been advertised. 2gb were for email database but I had no idea of other 10gb...
The best I found was to re-install and start afresh with new installs and just the apps I needed.
I used an application which copied folder names into a text file. I formatted the computer and picked and chose the applications I wanted to reinstall.
Used TimeMachine to copy My Documents folder back and done.
Just keep in mind I used Firefox sync which copied my bookmarks, history etc. (although Add-Ons had to be reinstalled).
Couldn't have been happier to just format it rather than messing around.

Ok, so lets say I go with 3rd party memory. If I have an unrelated problem with the MBP, would I need to put the original memory back in before taking it in for service?

How does the Mac Mini handle itself when being used directly with a large TV?
I have a 1080p TV, 46" and plan to use it as a computer to show people how to use iPhoto and iMovie and such. I had my MacBook Air hooked up, and it worked fine as a second monitor but there was minor lag at times. When the Air was hooked up to my Apple 24" LED there is no lag at all so I was wondering if the screen size has anything to do with it.
Does the Mini handle this situation well? I am currently waiting for the refresh, but wanted some opinions in case this has been an issue or not.

I cant speak for the porsche, but the LaCie d2 is a great drive. I have a 250GB one w/ FW800 and its great. i've had it for 9-10 months now, and it hasnt frozen or crashed on me or anything. It emits a very light hum, and i rarely hear the drive. the only time it makes a lot of noise is when im capturing video, or scrubbing really quickly in FCP.

Simple answer - No we can't.
Longer answer - Only you know how many games you will be wanting to install on XP, similar to the above poster, I only play one game which requires Windows, so I set mine to 40GB, which was enough for OS and the game.
One piece of advice I would give you is to partition your drive into 3, one for Mac OS, one for Windows and a third 'spare' partition. THat way if you find yourself running out of space on either Mac or Windows you can format the 'spare' partition appropriately, or even split the spare into two.

Interesting update, for those that care/may be wondering. As a test, I grabbed a 2 GB Ram stick from my laptop and placed it in one of the free slots on my iMac. Computer now reports 6 GB RAM installed, but the 2 x 2GB already installed now underclock to 1067. It seems that Ram will always run as fast as the slowest installed. Still, 6 GB @ 1067 has to be better than 4 GB @ 1333, right?
I'm curious about this question too... I have the same situation but I have 8gb of RAM... what's better to have 8gb at 1067 or 4gb at 1333?

Single-craft missions are usually fun, if shallow. But the formation flying is a bore and a chore.

The single-player affair won't last gamers too long. There is a two-player mode to come back to, but most won't care.

"Where have all the good games gone ?" They better start arriving soon cause I'm getting really peeved. :( Even super swing golf seems to have been pulled for euro release disapearing off the radar :(
